Pool Land is located across the road from Hagley Park at 28a Moorhouse Avenue, Christchurch, New Zealand, and operates as a one-stop pool and pool-maintenance centre. It is owned by director Gary Hunt.
The firm began in 1983 as a home-based business trading Para Pools and pool equipment. The business developed and diversified, and in 1994 a shop was established near the centre of Christchurch city.
In October 2002, during the 8th birthday celebrations, this website was added to Pool Land's customer outreach services.
In April 2004, the firm expanded its premises from what had become a rather cramped shop to its current Moorhouse Avenue location with its larger work area, simpler access and parking. Shortly after, this website added shopping pages to allow online product sales.
